Landmark Renovation & Building Co.'s unique concept, the SolarHybrid House, is an innovative mainstream housing choice that incorporates passive solar design, roof-mounted solar hot water collectors, and a roof-mounted PV (photovoltaic) system with integrated battery backup. The SolarHybrid House combines all of the latest renewable energy technology and energy efficiency building techniques with beautiful design to create a home that is able to perform well through a wide range of conditions.

Currently, Landmark Renovation & Building Co. is building SolarHybrid Houses in the Edwards Pond subdivision, which is part of the Carrboro/Chapel Hill school district.
